Ida Frank, grew up in Oneida, New York, has been a Christian since 1965. At age 12, Ida knew God had called her to become a missionary. Ida has worked in several musical groups in school as well as in churches. Ida was one of the original members of the Christian high school group called "Power Company". Ida has taught Sunday School and worked with children in special education and early childhood special education. While Ida was living in California, she made several short-term mission trips to Mexico with a local church. In the summer of 1998, she traveled to Jamaica to work with Deaf as a short-term missionary under D.E.A.F. Ida’s goal is to use her skills in music, Sign Language and Deaf culture to bring the Gospel to Deaf here in the United States and around the world. Ida has ministered to Deaf in Kenya, Africa; Jamaica; St. Vincent as well as around the USA.
